Here is a single cask Amrut exclusive for the Norwegian market. This product is a mix of Amrut Fusion and Amrut Indian Single Malt blended at birth then matured together in an ex-bourbon cask (cask #2632). Distilled August 2014 and bottled August 2020. Limited to 132 bottles.

The Amrut 6 YO Daracha’s utvalgte nr. 7 Cask #2632 will go on sale in Norway on special orders in April at NOK 1950 (12914201).

Nose: Honey and white pepper. Then orange zest. Then juicy oranges. Vanilla and toasted oak. Hints of herbs and assorted spices. Very well integrated. With time more and more the typical bourbon cask notes of marshmallows, icing sugar and tropical fruits.

Taste: Big and oily mouthfeel. Rich honey and pineapple. Citrus, vanilla and mild oakiness. Milk chocolate. Ginger.

Finish: Medium long finish. Intensely rich in flavor all the way. Continues as it started. Added tomato plant, dark chocolate and hints of mint in the end.

Comment: Reminds me of a very good Kavalan Solist. So rich, concentrated and aromatic.
