anCnoc 16 YOQuick review. The anCnoc 16 YO is a now discontinued product from the Knockdhu Distillery in the Highland region of Scotland.

This product was fully matured in bourbon barrels.

Nose: Flower beds and citrus groves. Orchard fruits and honey sweetness. Mild notes of vanilla and malt drops.

Taste: Medium body and sweetness. Arrives with a fresh sting of citrus and spices. Back to the flowers and the apples as the spices subside.

Finish: Medium long finish. Honey glazed oak staves. A little dry now. Ginger, coconut and nuts towards the end.

Comments: A solid bourbon matured whisky.
