This is the second of three new releases from Distillerie Warenghem to be made available in Norway on March 6, 2015.

This is the third annual edition of the Armorik Millésime 2002. The previous releases have been 10 and 11 years old. The Armorik Millésime 2002 - 2014 Edition was matured in cask 3298, a 2nd fill sherry Oloroso butt. It was distilled on 2002-02-18 and bottled in July 2014. The total outturn was 723 bottles.

Nose (21/25): Rich sherry nose, but it has a light sweetness. This is not a heavy sherry bomb. Delicate notes of caramel with a salty touch.

Taste (22/25): Rich and full-bodied. Peppery caramel and dried fruits. Apples.

Finish (23/25): Massive doses of caramel and honey. Creamy and rich. Long and warm finish. A lovely dessert! Vanilla ice cream with rich caramel sauce - with a sprinkle of salt.

Balance (22/25): Wow! Put me down as a fan of French Whisky now. With such quality coming out of Distillerie Warenghem and Glann ar Mor I just have to spend more time hunting down more French single malt. I want to know more!
