This latest release in the Explorers Series from Arran Distillery is the oldest i the series so far, 23 years old. It has been matured in ex-sherry puncheons from Jerez. This release is limited to 9000 bottles.

The Arran Drumadoon Point - The Explorers Series Vol. 4 goes on sale in Norway this coming Monday at NOK 1885 (13563901).

Nose: White pepper, malt and orchard fruits. Vanilla and caramel. With time more spices - yet mild - and green notes. Hints of oakiness.

Taste: Full bodied. Lighter in style than the Arran 21 YO. Apples and pears - tinned and fresh. Hints of chocolate.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Honey and hints of green herbs. dry in the end. a little oaky and peppery.

Comment: Another rock solid, fruity dram from Arran.
