Nose: Toasted oak, earthy, dry cinnamon. Vanilla. Soft green notes - root vegetables straight out of the black soil.

Taste: Thin body. Ripe apples, weak coffee and dark chocolate. White pepper

Finish: Relatively short finish. More pepper on the finish actually. Also vanilla, brunt caramel and watery “tropical juice”. Pineapple and honey dew melon.

Comment: More fruity and tropical than the regular Ballantine’s.
