Triple distilled Irish single malt whiskey aged exclusive in ex-PX casks for a minimum of four years. Sourced from an undisclosed distillery.

Nose: Warm, rich and comforting. This is one for cold winter nights in front of the fireplace. Dried fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg and assorted nuts.

Taste: Medium body. Dry-ish in style. Peppery with ripe orchard fruits as well as juicy plums and raisins on the palate.

Finish: Medium to short finish. Drier still now. Not as spicy, and a little more sweet. Plums and raisins all the way. Hints of mint and other green herbs in the end.

Comment: Quite good.
