This sold out single cask release from Danish distillery Fary Lochan was distilled 2016-02-08, and bottled 2022-02-10. Matured in ex-bourbon barrel and finished in ex-Moscatel cask. Limited to 288 bottles.

Nose: Green! Fresh! Juicy! Citrusy! With time also a distinct green note that I cannot quite place - but it fits perfectly and it elevates the nose significantly. The alcohol is very well integrated.

Taste: Full bodied and then some. Love the rich and fruity sweetness here. A mix of fresh orchard fruit and assorted dried fruits. Not the faintest trace of alcohol sting here.

Finish: Medium long finish. It remains rich, sweet and fruity throughout. Custard and fudge. Cut grass on the finish line.

Comment: Rather unusual profile both on the nose and palate, but I’m thoroughly charmed.
