This is the 2021 edition of the annual Four Roses Small Batch Barrel Strength Limited Edition. This time around we have a bourbon made from the following four components; 16 YO OBSV, 14 YO OBSQ, 12 YO OESK and 16 YO OESV. Each letter combination refers to one of the ten recipes used by Four Roses - where yeast and mash bill varies. This is a high rye bourbon.

This release is limited to 4944 bottles.

The Four Roses Limited Edition - Small Batch 2021 Release goes on sale in Norway this coming Monday at NOK 1899 (13804501).

Nose: Mild and rich, with generous amounts of soft pepper notes. Marshmallows, earthy vanilla, and hints of eucalyptus. With time Bounty chocolate, caramel and green herbs.

Taste: Full bodied, sweet and peppery. Dry with hints of polish, leather and aftershave (in a good way).

Finish: Long finish. More tempered, more restrained, more well-behaved now. Warm and fruity. Long and graceful landing.
