Nose: A bit shy at first. Dried fruits, vanilla and milk chocolate. Honey cake with a sprinkling of cinnamon. A sublime nose that would make Cleopatra envious.

Taste: Full-bodied with an almost chewy character. It is big but gentle. Again mainly dried fruits. Cinnamon, white pepper and marzipan. Vanilla and soft hints of oak. 

Finish: Long and lingering finish. It glides along as it started, focused and well-balanced. The sweetness is almost juicy now, making my mouth water. Sublime dark chocolate with a peppery edge.

Comment: Great Scott this is a keeper! One of the best Glenrothes I have ever tasted.
