High Coast Chevaleresk Estate

High Coast Chevaleresk Estate, 7 YO, 51.3 %

The third in a series of four seasonal expressions. This is the Summer edition. Limited to 691 bottles.

Matured in a combination of 63,55% ex-bourbon casks and 36,45% ex-Moscatel casks. Unpeated, summer style. See the product page for further details.

It did sell for SEK 1250 in Sweden but appears to be sold out now. The other three releases in the series are still available though.

Nose: The first impression is a delightful mix of fruity, fresh, and floral aromas. It's like walking through an orchard, with a touch of citrus brightening the bouquet. Fresh green herbs add a natural zest, and over time, the sweetness of floral honey emerges, rounding out the scent.

Taste: It's full-bodied, with a fruity and creamy essence. The orchard fruits continue to dominate, accompanied by a mild yet noticeable spiciness, primarily white pepper. There are also subtle hints of honey and the sweetness of tinned pears in simple syrup.

Finish: The finish is medium-long and becomes drier. The fruitiness persists, now joined by a light oakiness and a blend of mild spices, adding depth to the experience.

Comment: Easy drinking.
