Nose: Sugary sweet and warmly inviting. Notes of vanilla and cinnamon dance upfront, followed by richer undertones of demerara sugar and almond paste. With time in the glass, the sweetness opens up into tropical fruit territory; think banana, pineapple, and ripe melon.

Taste: Medium to light in body, but smooth and charming. The palate leans heavily into its sweetness, with vanilla and soft orchard fruits taking the lead. Banana adds a creamy dimension.

Finish: Medium long. A gentle, warming spice builds slowly, balancing out the earlier sweetness. The standout here is a clear and indulgent note of marzipan-covered banana cream cake; a precise and delightful image. Oak creeps in towards the end, giving it a slightly drier closing.

Comment: A dessert dram through and through.
