Matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in 130 litre ex-sherry cask (cask #4172). Lightly smoked with wood smoke.

“Freshwater peated rye malt whisky finished in Oloroso sherry cask.”

The cask was filled 2018-05-03, and the bottles filled 2023-06-20.

Nose: Green and spicy on the first sniff, with a warm and pleasant undertone. Orchard fruits and warm pepper notes.

Taste: Full-bodied and shockingly present, offering big and bold flavors of peppery fruitiness and green notes intertwined with exotic spices.

Finish: Medium-long, with notes of "dirty" strawberries and a surprising hint of peppery blue cheese at the end.

Comment: Boldly unique.
