Surely you can take one more whisky from Zuidam Distillers BV in the Netherlands? Here we have the Millstone 2010 6 YO Peated PX Cask - Special No. 11. Unlike the Special No. 10 (see review) this one bottled at 46 % ABV, and not at cask strength.

The Millstone 2010 6 YO Peated PX Cask - Special No. 11 was distilled on 2010-10-134, and fully matured in a Pedro Ximenez butt (cask # B0233). It was bottled back in 2016 (November 15), and the total outturn was 905 bottles.

Nose: Not very peaty actually. Soft wood smoke mixed with deep notes of dried fruits. Not very forthcoming - it holds back, even after a while in the glass.

Taste: Medium body and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Ashes mixed with dark chocolate and ripe apples. Chewy. Softly spicy, with nice notes of smoky ancho chili.

Finish: Medium long finish. Continues much as it started. Added notes of raspberry jam and even darker chocolate.

Comment: A "light" sherry bomb, with tempered peatiness. Enjoy!
