New whisky releases Norway - July 2018

Summer time is here, but rest assured there is still more whisky coming to Norway. On Friday July 6 the below listed whiskies will be released for sale in our beloved monopoly stores around the country. A modest 17 releases this time. Whiskies of special interest, at least to me, are the two new Octomores, the return of Hibiki, the Highland Park Light 17 YO, and a nice helping of Springbank.

Notice also the Nomad, a Speyside whisky finished in PX casks for a minimum of 12 months in Spania by González Byass. It can thus not be called a Scotch, but who cares :-)

Also note the new French rye whisky from Warenghem, the producers of Armorik.
