This is a high ester rum from Haiti and Jamaica. The high ester content is a result of long fermentation and the use of dunder. TCRL is an abbreviation for Transcaribbean Rum Line. This rum was distilled 2018 and bottled 2019.

Nose: Very green, with lots of vegetable notes, and plenty of dirty, oily funk.

Taste: Medium body. Oily, fruity and funky. Low on sweetness. Very clean in all its dirtiness.

Finish: Medium long finish. The vegetables from the nose reappear. Root vegetables straight from the dark, dark soil. Funky till the end.

Comment: I image this would work well in my rum cocktails.
