Nose: Quite fruity - orchard fruits. Malt, white pepper and fresh herbs - lemongrass perhaps. With time dark chocolate, cocoa nibs and strawberries.

Taste: Medium body and sweetness. Quite dry in style. Dark chocolate with bitter or even mildly sour notes. Malty.

Finish: Medium long finish. More of what has gone before. Perhaps a little spicier now. The dark chocolate is ever present. Bitter orange marmalade and hints of mint.

Comment: A fine marriage between Irish single malt and stout.
