Here is another recent release from Teeling Distillery, Dublin. A blended Irish whiskey where rum casks from Plantation Rum have been used to finish the whiskey for 12 months after the initial 6 years of bourbon cask maturation.

Nose: Initially reserved, it offers a subtle hint of vanilla, white pepper, and caramel. As it opens, gentle citrus notes begin to shine through, revealing a medley of orange, mandarin, barbecued pineapple, and a dash of lime zest.
Taste: Robust in body, with a texture that borders on buttery. The taste brings forward a savory blend of orange marmalade and what seems to be a hint of pineapple, enhancing its creamy richness.
Finish: Medium to long finish. A slow emergence of soft pineapple, along with honeydew melon and creamy vanilla. It gently concludes with the sweetness of milk chocolate and a hint of mint.
Comment: Truly refreshing.
