The very best Nordic whiskies of 2020

I do my very best to try as many Nordic whiskies as I can. During 2020 I tasted and reviewed 38 Nordic whiskies, and I have reviewed 265 so far in total (see list).

A grand slam by the High Coast Distillery in Sweden, closely followed by Smögen, also from Sweden. I’m happy to note there are two entries from Norway also on the list, as well as one from Finland.

“Normally” one would expect at least one or two entries from Denmark as well, but due mainly to covid-19 I have hardly tasted any Danish whiskies in 2020. I certainy hope to remedy that in 2021.
