The Thy Bøg is a single distilled whisky from Thy Distillery, and one of three core products. It is made using 100% Odyssey barley. The malt is 95% beechwood smoked malt and 5% pale malt. The cask types used are ex-Oloroso and ex-PX sherry casks. This is a certified organic product.

Nose: Mild and sweet wood smoke meets dried fruits and caramel pudding. Very sweet, approachable, and civilized. The alcohol is seamlessly integrated, making it feel far more mature than its 3-4 years.

Taste: Full-bodied with a rich and creamy character. Dry and smoky upfront, featuring soot and ashes, white pepper, ripe apples, mint, and vanilla.

Finish: Medium-long, with lingering smokiness and fruitiness—a balanced mix of ripe orchard fruits and dried fruits. A sophisticated minty coolness ties it all together.

Comment: A positive experience.
