Nose: Sweet and aromatic fruitiness. Apples, pears, banana, pineapple and mango. Very rich. Earthy. Creamy vanilla. Cocoa nibs and toasted oak. The nose is delightful and keeps developing. Complex and balanced. New fragrances keep appearing and disappearing in a dance of impressions. Rowan berries. Hints of citrus.

Taste: Full bodied and big - borderline aggressive - it certainly gets up close and personal. Red berries, dried fruits, white (hot) pepper, ginger and cinnamon. Menthol. Soft oakiness.

Finish: Medium long finish. Mellows out on the finish - vanilla, mild fruitiness, dark chocolate and honey. Dry-ish towards the end, as well as a little green.

Comment: This is an amazing grain whisky.
