Nose: Very light toasted oak, intertwined with earthy richness and deep fruitiness. The aroma evokes freshly turned black soil and a vegetal character—think potatoes with dirt still clinging to them. With time, it becomes fine-tuned, sweetly fruity and increasingly lovely.

Taste: Full-bodied, soft, and fruity. Mild pepper and gentle oakiness do gradually shine through.

Finish: Long and lingering. The mild fruitiness persists, gradually revealing earthy undertones, coffee, and cacao beans toward the end.

Comment: A fascinating and unusual dram!
