A blend of various Kentucky sourced bourbons aged 4 to 8 YO, mainly wheated bourbons. The source distilleries are undisclosed.

“A limited-edition release of Kentucky Owl Straight Bourbon that was made in a collaboration between Kentucky Owl master blender John Rea and Louise McGuane, founder of JJ Corry Irish Whiskey. Decked out from head-to-toe in green for St Patrick's Day, it celebrates the age-old connection between American and Irish whiskey, and is made with a combination of casks aged between four and eight years old.” (source: The Whisky Exchange)

Nose: Honey and earthy cinnamon. Ripe orchard fruits. Autumn notes of dry leaves and an afternoon walk through a cool and dark forest. Leprechauns lurk behind every tree.

Taste: Rich and full bodied. The playful peppery spiciness perfectly combines with rich orchard fruits and honey sweetness.

Finish: Medium to long finish. More of the fun spiciness now, but it is always anchored by the fruity sweetness. Milk chocolate and earthy cinnamon. Balanced and relaxed. In fact the spices and the fruity sweetness keeps morphing and mixing in wonderous ways.

Comment: Sublime sweetness!
