Nose: Deep, rich, and intensely sweet with layers of dried fruits. Notes of almond pudding, raisins, figs, and dates develop over time, wrapped in a malty warmth.
Taste: Full-bodied, dry, and bold. A symphony of dried fruits leads the way, followed by a peppery kick and subtle earthy undertones.
Finish: Long finish, carrying through the dried fruit richness. In the final stretch, dark chocolate and citrus notes emerge.
Comment: The PX cask has completely taken the reins, but when the cask is this good, that’s not a bad thing!
