The second batch of Smögen 90 Proof. AGain matured in ex-bourbon barrels, and bottled 2022.

Nose: Right out of the gate, there's a refreshing menthol hit paired nicely with almonds. A subtle oakiness is present, hinting at its dry side. Let it breathe a bit, and you'll find the menthol deepening, joined by a touch of vanilla.

Taste: Definitely full-bodied. It leans a bit dry but is balanced with some spicy undertones of black and white pepper. There's a background hint of pine, but what really stands out is the creamy vanilla with a splash of tropical fruits.

Finish: It lingers well, maintaining its somewhat dry character. As it fades, there's this green touch, reminiscent of fresh herbs and just-cut grass.

Comment: Solid dram.
