Sall Whisky First Ex-Oloroso Cask Release

Sall Whisky First Ex-Oloroso Cask Release, NAS, 52.7 %

And here is the second release from Danish distillery Sall Whisky. This whisky was matured in a single ex-Oloroso sherry cask, and limited to 310 bottles.

Nose: A lovely blend of dried fruits takes the lead, garnished with a citrusy twist. The zesty aroma of orange liqueur weaves seamlessly with the soft and comforting notes of creamy vanilla.

Taste: Full-bodied and robust, it dives deep into the richness of dried fruits, accompanied by an underlying sweetness. There's a subtle earthy touch that contrasts beautifully with the bright and zesty notes of orange marmalade, all wrapped in a creamy and opulent texture.

Finish: Medium length. It remains consistent, with dried fruits and a sprinkle of cinnamon harmonizing with vibrant orange tones.

Comment: A simply delightful pour.
