The Speyburn 18 YO will be available in Norway starting Nov 24 at NOK 1400 (15927101).

Nose: The nose begins with a dryish character, accented by a subtle hint of dust, reminiscent of an old library. Then dried fruits and caramel, creating a sweet atmosphere. Over time there are notes of raisins, plum, and almonds.

Taste: A medium body that's soft and welcoming. The initial taste is dominated by dried fruits, think fruitcake. This is followed by ripe banana and ice cream. Dark chocolate comes through on the next wave.

Finish: The finish is medium-long. I now get luxurious Belgian chocolate truffle, before it comes in for a soft landing.

Comment: Perfectly fine.
