Matured initially in 1st fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in French Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks.

The Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition - French Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finish is available in Norway at NOK 550 (12653801), and in Sweden at SEK 299 (343).

Nose: A symphony of red berries and orchard fruits. Soft and very pleasant actually. With time also rowanberries.

Taste: Medium to light body. Red berries again - more jam-like now. Dark chocolate. Creamy vanilla and ripe plums.

Finish: Medium long finish. Cool chocolate confectionary. Apricot jam and again ripe plums. Juicy ginger and earthy cinnamon.

Comment: I rather enjoyed this.
