Teeling Amber Ale Dot Brew is a blended whiskey from Teeling Whiskey and their Batch Collaboration series. It has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels for up to 5 years before receiving a 15-month finish in Amber Ale kegs from the Dot Brew Brewery in Dublin.

Nose: Malt and strawberries. It has a green side to it - although I’m having trouble pinning it down. Perhaps fresh oak? Cut grass? Pine wood? With time peppery orange zest.

Taste: Medium body. Creamy vanilla, with peppery maltiness. Hints of hops and ripe apples.

Finish: Medium long finish. Beer like notes now actually. I would not say amber ale, but more porter-like on the finish. The same green notes I found on the nose.

Comment: Another fine product in the Collaboration Series.
