This is the eighth release of The Glover, a blended malt made up of single malt whiskies from Japan and Scotland (always Ardnamurchan, sometimes other Scotch single malt as well). This time around the component single malts are from Chichibu and Ardnamurchan.

The Glover #8 (Adelphi) will be available to buy in a few days in Norway, at NOK 1787 (19233501).

Nose: Rich and fruity with a mellow, inviting spiciness. As it develops, a distinct note of Tiger Balm emerges, adding an intriguing herbal and slightly medicinal layer.

Taste: Full-bodied and creamy, opening with bold pepper and ginger spice. The unmistakable Tiger Balm character follows, bringing warmth.

Finish: Long finish. The Tiger Balm lingers, leaving a cooling yet spicy sensation.

Comment: If you like Tiger Balm, you’re in for a treat!
