Distilled 1982, bottled 2017, matured in a single ex-bourbon hogshead, and limited to 180 bottles. Bottled by independent bottler Cadenhead in their 175 Anniversary Series.

Nose: Soft, fruity notes with a maritime touch and gentle wood smoke. Over time, it becomes more fruity and tropical, with added creamy vanilla and hints of sun-warmed, well-worn leather.

Taste: Full-bodied, with a noticeable peaty presence on the palate. Dry ashes, coal, and toasted oak dominate, creating a dry yet oily and creamy texture. White and black pepper, almond milk, and a hint of cinnamon add complexity.

Finish: Long and increasingly dry, as the fruitiness slowly dissipates. What's left is a mild spiciness, with green notes and a touch of the maritime.
