Linkwood Madeira Finish Cask Craft (Murray McDavid), NAS, 44.5 %

Another entry in the new series Cask Craft from independent bottler Murray McDavid. This whisky has been finished in ex-Madeira wine barriques.

This whisky goes on sale in Norway this coming week at NOK 685 (15434001).

Nose: Soft, dried fruit. Leather combined with hints of almonds and wellies. Caramel pudding.

Taste: Medium to full body. Delicate note of almonds. Sugary sweet. Tropical fruits and dried fruits in a merry combination.

Finish: Medium long finish. More of the same, albeit a little darker now. Sweet all the way.

Comment: Sweet, sweet, sweet.
