Time for a single malt from Danish distillery Sall Whisky. The Sall Whisky Tørv 2.1 is a peated whisky, and “tørv” is Danish for peat. This whisky was made using peated Danish barley matured for three years in ex-bourbon casks. Limited to 391 bottles. See the official product page for more.

Nose: Rich and warm notes of peated barley. Orchard fruits and creamy vanilla. With time soft notes of almonds, marzipan and toasted oak.

Taste: Full bodied and rather feisty. It proudly shows off youthful energy in abundance. Rich and sweet wood smoke, creamy barley notes and earthy vanilla.

Finish: Short finish. More vanilla creaminess, sweet wood smoke, and also mellow notes of orchard fruits.

Comment: Happy place.
