Matured in American oak casks and finished in ex-Tempranillo wine casks. Bottled 2020.

Nose: Quite fruity, with notes of both red wine and port wine. Not your typical single malt nose. Over time, hints of malt and vanilla emerge.

Taste: Medium to light body, featuring red wine notes on the palate. White pepper and a hint of citrus add complexity, alongside some oakiness and fizzy ginger.

Finish: Medium-long, with cinnamon, custard, and more vanilla. Ends on a dry, oaky note.

Comment: OK then.
